We are honored to several troops from Scouting Colorado participate in the Grand Parade. Scouting Colorado builds character and community through a variety of programs and activities including camping, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, community service projects, and more. These activities instill a sense of confidence, preparedness, and honor in our youth. We wish to thank those who give of their time and talents to ensure the WWW Grand Parade is a success: Parade Stagers — Littleton Rotary, Scouting America Troop 989 — Super Dooper Pooper Scoopers; Scouting America Troop 114 — Banner carriers; and of course our wonderful Parade Chairs!
The City of Littleton is a valued Community Partner of Western Welcome Week for this event.

Our theme – Colorful Colorado – 150 Years! is dedicated to this year marking the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood (it’s our sesquicentennial). At the same time, America is celebrating 250 years since signing the Declaration of Independence (its semiquincentennial).
Together, in 2026, Colorado and America celebrate our Sesquisemiquincentennial, or what we call the 250-150 for short!
This once-in-a-lifetime moment is an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, celebrate our communities, and shape the future together. These statewide efforts are being led by the America 250 – Colorado 150 Commission, and communities across our state are planning celebrations.
These combined anniversaries provide an opportunity for us to come together around our shared ideals.
