Run for your pancakes! Work up an appetite for a delicious pancake breakfast as you run/walk 3.1 miles on the beautiful Mary Carter Greenway, along the South Platte River. The race course starts and finishes at Hudson Gardens & Event Center. Family-friendly – runners and walkers of all ages welcome; strollers are allowed, however, please – no dogs. The race is chip timed, with awards for overall male and female as well as first and second in age/gender groups. The event is held rain or shine. Free parking for the run/walk and breakfast is available at Arapahoe Community College.

The registration fee includes a ticket to the Western Welcome Week Family Pancake Breakfast at Arapahoe Community College (5900 S. Santa Fe Dr) from 7:30am to 11:30am. The breakfast includes all you can eat and drink: pancakes, sausage, juice, milk, and coffee. There are free games for the kids out on the lawn at the Kids Games of Old and the Bruce Wolf Stick Horse Stampede – that Stick Horse Stampede starts promptly at 10am, bring your own stick horse or purchase one at the event from Jane’s Posse.
