The Brad & Mary Bradford Memorial Duck Race honors the philanthropy and community fun that Brad and Mary enjoyed.
Join us at the Little’s Creek Bridge at Sterne Park, 5804 S. Bemis Street. Come and cheer on the ducks as they race down Little’s Creek towards the Prince Street bridge – FUN for the whole family! Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. You can only win once, and must be present to win!
• Online duck ordering closes at 11am on the day of the event
• In-person duck sales start at 12pm
• Duck races are 1pm-3pm
Parking is available at the Center for the Blind (2233 W Shepperd Avenue) and at Sterne Park (5800 S. Spotswood). There is no parking in the War Memorial Rose Garden parking lot at this event.

Become a $100 sponsor of the Duckford Duck Sponsor Regatta!
Get your Duckford Duck (5″ duck – larger than the regular race ducks), to race in a in the Duckford Duck Sponsor Regatta. Open to individuals and businesses, and you get to keep the duck! Decorate your duck with logos, paint, stickers, etc., and come up with a great name – example: Webster, Drake, Ducktape, etc. Please write your name on the back of the duck. You or your company will be listed on the Brad & Mary Bradford Memorial Duck Race event web page on the WWW website. A ducky way to support Western Welcome Week, a 501(c)3 public charity nonprofit organization. Western Welcome Week relies on community generosity to bring the honored tradition to the community each year.
We are honored to several troops from Scouting Colorado participate in the Brad & Mary Bradford Memorial Duck Race. Scouting Colorado builds character and community through a variety of programs and activities including camping, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, community service projects, and more. These activities instill a sense of confidence, preparedness, and honor in our youth. Thank you Scouting America Troop 989 for all your help at this event!
