Western welcome Week announces the 2026 Grand Marshal
By a unanimous vote of the Western Welcome Week board, we are honored to name Bob “Mohawkamania” Bagnall as the 2026 Western Welcome Week Grand Marshal. Bob perfectly represents the 2026 theme — Colorful Colorado – 150 Years — in more ways than one – most notably colorful!
A lifelong Littleton resident, Bob graduated from Littleton High School and grew up attending Western Welcome Week events year after year. Some of his favorite childhood memories were made at the festival. “It was like a family and friend reunion every year — you’d see people and reconnect with them at Western Welcome Week events,” Bob shared.
Bob and his wife, Julie, have been married for 21 years and have raised three children — never missing a Western Welcome Week parade along the way. For their family, the celebration has become a cherished tradition filled with memories that will last a lifetime.
What began in 2018 as a joke for a “crazy hair day”, while volunteering at his children’s school, soon turned into something much bigger. Bob styled his hair into a Mohawk, began adding creative designs, created by his wife Julie, and started sharing the looks online — unexpectedly launching a one-of-a-kind advertising business. Since then, “Mohawkamania” has worked with companies around the world, including Doritos, Manscaped, Takis, and Diesel. He has also appeared in a Bad Bunnymusic video and participated in events such as the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Along the way, Bob has remained committed to giving back — especially through charity events for children and by supporting the Littleton community whenever he can. “Making people smile with my Mohawk has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. I love Littleton, and it is truly an honor to serve as the Grand Marshal of Western Welcome Week 2026,” said a gracious Bob “Mohawkamania” Bagnall.
