The Western Welcome Week Old-Fashioned Cake Contest is back! FUN for all ages!

We are excited to bring back the Old-Fashioned Cake Contest! The event is held in conjunction with the Family Pancake Breakfast. Registration will be held outside the west doors of the Littleton Center (Geneva Park, upper level) from 8:30am-9am. The cakes will be displayed in the west hallway of the Littleton Center. Cost of entry is $5.

Cake Categories:
• Tasting and Decorating for Children (12 years and younger)
• Teens (13-17 years old)
• Adults (age 18 and over).

Cakes can only be entered into one category. Tasting cakes must be homemade – no box mixes. ALL parts of ALL cakes, tasting and decorated, are to be edible (with the exception of plates and cake stands). Cakes with non-edible parts will be disqualified from judging. Cakes will be on display for community viewing from 9am-10:30am. Winners will be announced at 10:30am. There is no seating in the hallway and we ask that people not congregate in the hallway so that others have the opportunity to see all the yummy works of art!

Unfortunately due to health concerns, cake tasting will not be available to the public.

Stop by the Pancake Breakfast for pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee for $6. There will be the FREE Kids Games of Old and the Bruce Wolf Stick Horse Stampede. Bring your own stick horse or purchase one from Jane’s Posse for $10.
