LPD Western Welcome Week DUI Education Campaign
The Littleton Police Department (LPD) will be participating in the Western Welcome Week (WWW) Festival Day on Saturday, August 15, with an interactive DUI and E-Bike education event. Thanks to a grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) DUI Program, community members will have the opportunity to ride pedal bikes while wearing impairment simulation goggles to experience how alcohol can affect balance, coordination, and reaction time. Officers will also be available to share information about E-bike safety, Colorado laws, and tips for riding responsibly. We invite everyone to stop by, learn something new, and help keep our community safe.
The event will be located on South Curtice Street – south of Main Street
Peak Honda World is joining the Police Department displaying their Side-By-Sides and motorcycles – safety first!
