31st Carousel of Music
5:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Littleton Center, 2255 W. Berry Ave.; Geneva Lake Park, just behind the Littleton Center — 2255 W. Berry Ave., Littleton
A celebration of music and family fun! Fifty-cent hot dogs, soft drinks, and ice cream. Music in Geneva Lake Park by the Colorado Honor Band and the Denver Concert Band. In the council chamber: two performances by the Littleton Chorale; and the "Thunderbirds," a live parrot show perform in the council chamber. KIDS — BRING A TOWEL and enjoy the free inflatable water slide, new this year in Geneva Park! Returning this year: $1 canoe rides on Geneva Lake. Hosted by the City of Littleton. NOTE DATE CHANGE: Due to Littleton Public Schools starting on August 16, the date for Carousel of Music has been moved up to the beginning of Western Welcome Week.

Luke Ham Sandwich Family Band

Enjoy Texas style fiddling and Blue Grass music with the Luke Ham Sandwich Family Band. The bad has performed throughout the country. The band includes: Dad - Del Lukasiewicz, Mom Debbie and all 8 children - ages 7-17. Three of the fiddling children are adoptees from a Haitian orphanage.

21st Family Night — Concert in the Park & Fireworks

Music Entertainment. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. WWW Program begins at 6pm with introduction of the WWW Board, Grand Marshal Rebecca Kast and grant awards. From 6:30pm-7:30pm sit back and enjoy the Cruisin' Cats, house band of Cruisin" Oldies 950AM. The Denver Municipal Band will perform from 7:45-9pm. Fireworks begin approximately at 9pm. A partnership event with South Suburban Parks & Recreation and Western Welcome Week.

30th Annual Littleton Fire Fighter's Children's Parade
7:30 am to 9:30 am; Registration: Bega Park, east end of Main Street - Main and Sycamore Parade: Main Street in Historic Downtown Littleton — Main St & Rio Grand - Bega Park, Littleton
Children 14 and under. Registration 7:45am at Bega park (Main St. and Rio Grand) parade starts at 8:45am. Theme: "Honoring Our Heritage". Categories include: Pedestrian/Walkers, Wheels (bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, wagons and electric powered vehicles), Floats, and Leashed Pets. Individuals or groups welcome Participants on bikes, scooters, skateboards, electric powered vehicles, or rollerblades must wear a helmet. No gas powered entries or advertising please.

58th Annual Reunion Homecoming Luncheon (aka Old Timers')
10:00 am to 1:00 pm; Littleton Museum — 6028 S. Gallup St., Littleton
The Littleton Museum encourages Littleton residents to join in the fun of the annual "Homecoming" luncheon! The luncheon provides a great opportunity for long-time Littleton residents, or those who have moved away to come back, visit and reminisce while enjoying lunch. The first luncheon was held in 1952 by Edwin A. Bemis. Tickets must be purchased in advance by August 11 - space is limited, available at the Museum or by mail. In the event of inclement weather the luncheon will be moved to Littleton High School cafeteria, 199 W. Littleton Blvd.
