A Family Highlight! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. WWW Program begins at 6pm with introduction of the WWW Board, Grand Marshals from the Buck Recreations Center: Mike Keane, Linda Aluise and Ellen Martin and WWW grant award winner Colorado Center for the Blind.
*Fireworks will be part of the event. On July 30, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson lifted the fire ban in certain areas of Arapahoe County.
Littleton, Arapahoe, and Heritage High School drum lines will perform parts of their marching routines and regular performances for concerts. If you like drums you will love this!
The Denver Municipal Band will perform from 7:45-9pm.
Fireworks begin approximately at 9pm. Western Welcome Week provides a professional fireworks display by Tri-State Fireworks, every precaution is taken to provide a safe show for the spectators and the surrounding neighborhood.
Don't forget the Lions Club 62nd Community BBQ from 5-7:30pm!
Note: W. Shepperd Ave. will be closed from S. Bemis St., to S. Spotswood St. and S. Spotswood St. will be closed from W. Shepperd Ave. to W. Lake Ave. Handicap parking with placard or plate will be allowed to park in this area - space is limited.
